The creativity and imagination explored on the canvas of fabrics combining the sense of style and glamour, is what the scene expressed on the runway of The National Designer Runway 2022. Among the contesting designers of the event, Samuel Akonthansh bagged the winning prize and earned a cash prize of rupees fifty thousand and also qualifies for the Global fashion runway being showcased in Thailand.

Samuel is a fashion designer, and graduate of IIFT Nepal. The competition found Laxmi Shrestha and Nikita Shrestha as the joint position holder as the first runners-up and shared the value cash prize of thirty thousand. Likewise, the team of Purnima Gurung, Aakriti Kumari Shah, Karuna Chaudhary, and Perina Gurung named Black Fins scored the position of second runners-up and shared the cash prize of rupees twenty thousand. The team of Black Fins is the student designers pursuing their fashion designing course at Namuna College of Fashion Technology.

The contesting designers showcased their creativity through two of their exclusive designs flaunted by two female models. The competition was been judged by a trio of fashion designers Goma Tiwari of GSK Versatile, Trishna Gurung from Mrigatrishna fashion production and Sabin Dhungana of TSABINZ, and international Nepalese model Deepak Ghimire.

The event hosted at Party Yard Reception was been organized by Model Songs Nepal in association with Global Online Pay and was been choreographed and hosted by Rojin Shakya. The event saw sixty models performing on the runway who flaunted exclusive designer wear collections from Mrigatrishna fashion production, GSK Versatile, Orchid Fashion Studio, Maili Creation, Sara Shrestha, and Onta your wish. The make-up and hair do was been performed by Facial house and Makeup Durbar.

As stated by Devil Singh Rajput, the event was been organized for creating a platform for the upcoming designers and strengthening the professional growth of the fashion professionals be they the designers or the models. Among the performing models, Swastika Regmi and Poonam Khadgi were been awarded as the best models while Sujan Thapa Magar and Shristi Shrestha were awarded the audience choice award.

The event dedicated to the plus-size women named ‘Super Plus-size Model Nepal 2021’ has finalized its winner. In the grand finale of the 3rd season of the event, Shristi Upreti has been crowned as the winner. Besides being the winner Shristi also bagged photogenic, charming, and talent title awards. Likewise, Smriti Adhikari was positioned as the first runner-up. She was also able to bag the award called confident.

In the event showcased at Rashtriya Naachghar, Jamal, Kathmandu, Krishna Koirala was crowned as the winner of the Audience choice award while she was also successful at the awards called most popular and smart. The event saw Rojina Rai as the winner of the enthusiastic and viewer choice award while Srijana Ale Magar was chosen as the winner of the personality award and Prerana Rajbanshi as the winner of the intelligent category. The contestants of the event were dressed on the attires been designed by Leena Silwal Dahal from Glory, the boutique. The event was been organized by Model Songs Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and was choreographed and hosted by Choreographer Rojin Shakya.

2nd season of Model Songs Award 2020 has honored professionals and achievers from various fields. In the event hosted at Rashtriya Naachghar Jamal, Kathmandu, the award ceremony honored Binod Dhakal as the best singer of the year for the national song, ‘Kalapani’, Shital K.C. as the best actor for the film, ‘Bir bahadur danga parcha’, Pradeep Raj Onta as the best debut male model for the Song, ‘Pardeshiko karma’.Likewise, Fashion Choreographer Rojin Shakya earned the award called best fashion choreographer while Beautician Sushma Mahara received the award Nepal’s number one beauty salon for Facial House and Founder Director of Dream Search Agency Kamal Nikon Chhetri received the award best international achiever (title winner) for Dream Search Agency. Similarly, Rajendra Luitel (Raj) was been honored as the best media person of the year while Kuber Tamang earned the best fashion photographer of the year award while Bikash Shrestha received the award of the best event management company for Quest Event Management Pvt. Ltd.Likewise, Goma Adhikari Dhital earned the award called best female event organizer for Batika Entertainment while the award of Best Event Director (male) was been bagged by Monit Maharjan. The event honored more than two dozen professionals from the fields of fashion, modeling, pageantry, music, movie, and art & literature. The event was been organized by Model Songs Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and was been graced by the member of parliament and former minister for Communication and Information Technology, Dr. Minendra Rijal as the chief guest.
